History
Good Day Nursery and Childcare Center was established in the late 1970s as a private school unaffiliated with St. Paul’s church. In 2002, Amy Bitalla, otherwise known as “Miss Amy” and her husband, Stephen, purchased the business and transformed it into Good Day Preschool & Kindergarten. Family-run and operated, Good Day has been a fixture in the community for over 40 years. Our faithful teachers and teacher’s assistants have been at the school for many years which has resulted in consistent teaching and learning. The staff’s collective efforts have produced an outstanding atmosphere for pre-school and Kindergarten children to thrive and develop while establishing a strong foundation for the future.
Our Mission
Good Day Preschool & Kindergarten offers a well-planned, structured learning environment that has been developed to stimulate the abilities of each individual child. We offer a combination of indoor and outdoor activities, balanced with lessons planned around thematic units of interest and the needs of our students. Our programs incorporate hands-on participation to encourage the full potential of every child, physically, academically, emotionally, and socially. This hands-on approach is fostered through learning centers which assist the teacher in creating challenging educational experiences. Skills and strategies are also developed to nurture and educate our students in preparation for their future endeavors.
